Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have a problem with shooters. I enjoy Halo and Gears, but I’m tired of these bros calling themselves “hardcore” just because they play <b>only</b> shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield. These are the same people that used to make fun of people like me. People who’d play NES and SNES games back in the day. Now the “gamer” label is being stereotyped with FPS games. Do you like video games? Yes?Then you’re a gamer. It has nothing to do with whether you play shooters.

This,my followers,is the goddamn truth,whether you like it or not.I’ve been playing since Half-Life,so I deserve my title as a gamer.These small children playing CoD every spare moment of their lives,however?No.)

( I agree with him, playing CoD will make you a gamer, but hardcore gamers don’t stick with one genre of game. They go from CoD, to Legend of Zelda, and then to Dead Island over and over, switching back and fort. That makes you a hardcore gamer in my book… )
